For Immediate Release:
Are you looking to make good on your New Year’s resolution of working out?
Now you can, with the JCC and David Barton Gym. The two have collaborated to provide members with one month of free training classes. Offered on Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings, the classes will last fifty-five minutes each.
Each class will include power conditioning, cycle, and yoga.
Power conditioning is the ultimate cardiovascular and body weight exercise training challenge. Using plyometrics will help increase the power of your workout. The intervals combine intense plyometric and agility movements with body weight based strength movements focused on the upper body and core.
Use a stationary bike to accelerate your mind and body to a new state of being with a focus on cadence, heart-rate zones, climbs, and sprints that are fun and challenging.
Yoga will change the way you look, feel, and think. Classes focus on breathing in relation to postures that improve flexibility, balance, coordination, and strength.
Classes begin Tuesday, February 7 and run through Thursday, February 28. The Tuesday classes will run from 10-10:55 a.m. and the Thursday classes will run from 7:30-8:25 p.m. The February 5 and February 7 classes are free and open to the public. Remaining classes are free for JCC members and $30 for guests. Classes will be held at David Barton Gym at Tivoli Village, 410 South Rampart. Call the JCC at 702-794-0090 to register.
*NOTE: For those reading this in the Las Vegas Israelite, the first class will be Thursday, February 7 at 7:30 p.m.
