Now that Congress is in August recess, it is a perfect opportunity for voters to have their voices heard on the important issues for this Congress: gun violence prevention, comprehensive immigration reform, climate change, Obamacare and the budget. I urge voters to attend town hall meetings and/or visit their representative’s offices.
Congress needs to listen and respond to the wishes of the majority of voters. They cannot do this effectively if the voters sit back and hope for the best. We must actively work for principles in which we believe. It is time to act, to compromise and to serve the people.
