Man wounded in shooting at North Las Vegas convenience store

A man was shot Wednesday night at a North Las Vegas convenience store near Cheyenne Avenue and Civic Center Drive, authorities said.

North Las Vegas Police responded to the shooting at an AMPM convenience store about 10 p.m. The victim was transported to University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The suspect ran before officers arrived, police said. No further information on the suspect or victim was released.

North Las Vegas Police are investigating the shooting.
