L.A. Clippers star Chris Paul headed directly to Lavo in Palazzo fresh off his MVP win at the 2013 NBA-All-Star Game in Houston, Texas, baby, on Sunday night to host the annual Baller’s Ball.
Arriving around 1:30 a.m. with the trophy in tow(!), CP3 immediately handed the prize to Lavo’s marketing director, and the trophy spent a few short minutes in the boutique club before being locked away in the back office for safe keeping. Paul stopped by the DJ booth to chat with DJ Vice about L.A. and the city’s Lakers vs. Clippers rivalry, then spent the evening at a VIP table on the dance floor.
Paul and Lavo helped his brother C.J. celebrate his 30th birthday with a cake and danced with his friends all night. Also at Lavo: Miami Dolphins linebacker Karlos Dansby at a VIP table on the dance floor with friends.
“Glee” star Chord Overstreet continued his 24th birthday weekend celebration with dinner at sister hotspot Tao in The Venetian. The group, which include “New Girl” star Lamorne Morris, enjoyed specialty cocktails, including the Tiger Lily and Tao Hito, plus, crispy rice, wok sirloin and sushi before making their way to Lavo, where Overstreet was presented with a cake.
Overstreet also celebrated his birthday at the new Palms hotspot Heraea. Also at Tao: Joel Anthony of the Miami Heat, plus, Whitney Port with her sister Paige before heading to Lavo; they’re in town to promote the former’s clothing line Whitney Eve.
